What We Access
Rezy connects to your existing systems—POS, kitchen displays, and reservation platforms—using read-only access. We never modify, delete, or interfere with your operational data.
We access:
- Order timing and ticket data
- Item-level details (what was ordered, modified, remade, comped)
- Reservation and cover counts
- Kitchen timing when available
What We Don't Access
We do not access, store, or process:
- Guest names, contact information, or payment details
- Credit card or financial data
- Staff personal information beyond first names for context
- Guest reviews or survey responses
How We Use Your Data
Your operational data is analyzed to identify patterns, anomalies, and friction points in service. We use this analysis solely to generate insights for you—the operator.
We do not:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share your data with other restaurants
- Use your data for advertising
- Aggregate your data into industry benchmarks without explicit consent
Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use industry-standard cloud infrastructure with SOC 2 Type II compliance. Access to customer data is strictly limited to essential personnel and is logged.
Data Retention
We retain operational data for the duration of your engagement with Rezy, plus 90 days. After that, data is permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of all data we hold about your restaurant
- Request deletion of your data at any time
- Disconnect Rezy from your systems at any time
- Ask questions about how your data is used
